“The gym has massively helped as it isn’t like a mainstream gym for Maiya. Then gym is smaller therefore quieter, James takes time as a PT to give Maiya guidance 1:1 and instruct her how to use the equipment without making Maiya feel silly.

Maiya was very worried about not knowing how to use the equipment and James had reassured her so much.

James is an amazing coach with massive understanding of asd diagnosis so understands how to communicate with Maiya to get the best out of her in every session.

James’ PT sessions have turned my life around for the better.

Thanks to school PE I’ve never enjoyed sports and hugely disliked the gym. But after two babies and entering my forties I knew that regular training was the only way to recover postpartum and maintain good health – for life.

“I hadn’t had a personal trainer before and was apprehensive before getting in touch with James. After a chat with James about what my goals are and his recommendations, I had no worries at all. The whole group is very supportive and we have a great time training together. In particular, James is brilliant in taking into account your physical capability on the day – so if you’ve twinged your back between sessions he makes sure you’re not injuring yourself further with a generic set of exercises. Everything is tailored to you. As well as my general fitness and strength, working with James has increased my overall confidence and I love our sessions.”
